TPK did not “give away” the "Elite-oil"

The factory, estimated at 3 billion rubles, left the company with a loss of 10 million rubles

“Taman Port Company” (TPK), which bought the right of demand for the collateral property of the bankrupt company “Kuban company “Elit-oil” from the “Otkrytiye” bank, left its property complex, which was estimated at 3 billion rubles. The total debt of “Elit-oil” is 6.8 billion rubles. Its former owner Sergey Kirichek and its affiliated "Stroyindustriya-Yug" are declared bankrupt. The property complex "Elit-oil" was leased by “Kuban Oils”, which is associated with the holding company “EFKO”. Experts believe that the complex can then go over to the "EFCO" structures, as it happened earlier with another enterprise owned by "TPK" – “Taman Oilseeds Processing Plant”.

The executive director of the National Law Company "Mitra " Zaurbek Akhmetov notes that the tactics of “Otkrytiye” in relation to "Elite oil" is typical for this bank. "According to our observations, after the bank begins to bankrupt the debtor, it loses the secured right to claim the debt of another, probably a friendly company, which is trying to establish control over the collateral," said Mr. Akhmetov. He also notes that LLC TPK is a traditional successor to the “Otkrytiye”, in particular, the bank has conceded to the company the right of claim in the bankruptcy case of "Stroyindustriya-Yug" (acted as a guarantor for the loans of "Elit-oil." - "Kuban").
