Krasnodar region spends on the preparation of resorts about 10 billion rubles a year, and returns in the form of taxes only 6 billion rubles. Even a twofold increase in the industry's income doesn`t save the situation.
Resort fee in the Krasnodar region will work from July 16, 2018. The experiment was postponed from May 1 this year for the summer due to the World Cup 2018, it will operate in Sochi, Anapa, Gelendzhik, Goryachiy Klyuch. Citizens of resort towns won`t pay a new tax. The amount of the resort fee will be 10 rubles per day per person. According to preliminary data, the resort fee can bring about 270 million rubles in 2018 to the budgets of resort towns.
"I don`t support the governor's optimism that the introduction of a resort fee will help ease the burden of preparing for the season. On the contrary, it is more likely that instead of increasing budget revenues from the sums of the resort fee, we will receive a drop in tax revenues in general for other taxes. Moreover, it is obvious that taking into account the rate of the resort fee and the mechanism for its collection, the administration costs of this collection will be greater than the revenues from it, which violates the principle of budgetary efficiency, "commented Yury Mirzoev, CEO of National Law Company “Mitra”.
