The 16-17th September in the Hotel Soho there was an annual Legal forum of the south of Russia. The organizers of event were: lawyer`s office “Stepanov and Aksuk” (Rostov-on-Don), international law firm “Dentons” and lawyer`s office “South” (Krasnodar), sponsors of event were National Law Company “Mitra” and law firm “Our consultant”.
The 65 representatives of the big federal law companies took apart in the forum, such companies as “Egorov, Puginskiy, Afanasev and partners”, “Pepelyaev group”, Dentons, “Kamenskaya and partners”, and also representatives of the big regional consulting firm.
The main aspect of VIII annual Legal forum of the south of Russia has been made as discussions and real-life communication. So, organizers made decision to take action in the form of panel discussions and round table discussion. Such format allowed participants to share ideas and experience. During forum participants were discussing actual topics and questions in the branch of cooperation lawyers, society and government, land legislation, antimonopoly regulation and criminal law. So, there was discussed a very popular question in Russia – legal services “pro bono”.
Soslan Kairov, partner of the National Law Company “Mitra”, during the session, dedicated the questions of antimonopoly legislation, made an actual presentation “Practice of application provisions about proscription of cartel disputes. The object of evidence cartels”.
The representative of forum, another partner of “Mitra” Roman Djakov has also shared opinion on the questions of the land law. In the presentation he brought up issues of disputing deals with doles in common shared ownership interest on the lands of agricultural designation.
For the first time, on the legal forum of the south of Russia there was organized the discussion in the form of “Round-table” World Café, where representatives discussed the topic of cooperation lawyers with clients. Representatives could chat about lawyers` charge fees, the questions of cutting risks in cases of providing legal services and ways of good quality operations of legal services with saving price pressure.
The organizers of forum could create a good atmosphere. The speakers` presentations were interesting and people could establish new contacts during event.
The CEO “Mitra” Yury Mirzoev says: “National Law Company “Mitra” will keep going this event and, we hope, that next forum will be in the capital of the North-Caucasus region in the Pyatigorsk”.
The 17th of September within the framework of cultural program of Forum there was organized the journey to the Azov historical and natural history reserve museum.
The VIII Legal forum of the south of Russia became a base for discussing professional activity of lawyers, attorneys in the conditions of actual changings in the legislation. The forum was interesting and useful for lawyers of all law branches due to different topics.
